Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt takes the lead in the first female-driven Yash Raj Film (YRF) company’s spy universe film, produced by Aditya Chopra. Co-starring alongside her is the promising talent and YRF’s own, Sharvari, as they portray super-agents within the spy verse. Aditya Chopra positions them as the standout ALPHA girls of this exciting venture!
Today, YRF, along with Alia and Sharvari, unveiled the title of their upcoming film – “Alpha” – a bold declaration that these women will dominate the big screen! This move by YRF challenges the societal misconception that only men can embody the term “Alpha.”
In the title reveal video, Alia Bhatt remarks in Hindi as a voiceover for the video, stating, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla Akshar Aur humare program ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabs veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega.. ALPHA!”
Which translates to, ‘The first letter of the Greek Alphabet, and our program’s motto—to be the first, fastest and strongest. If you look closely, there’s a jungle in every city, and in this jungle the one who will always rule is the ALPHA!’
Aditya Chopra is sparing no effort to transform the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film into an action-packed spectacle. “Alpha” is being directed by Shiv Rawail, known for directing the blockbuster global streaming series “The Railway Men,” also produced by YRF. All films of the spyverse by YRF like, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, ‘Tiger 3’ have been blockbusters.
Alia-Sharvari’s Alpha is the next big offering from Aditya Chopra, who is also currently making War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr in the lead. The next films from this fabled blockbuster universe would be Pathaan 2, followed by Tiger vs Pathaan.
