The intersection of Hatta Road and Al Ain Road in the direction from Dubai to Abu Dhabi will be closed on weekends from 1am to 10am until August 31, as reported by RTA in a message on X.
When coming to Dubai from Al Ain, turn right onto Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road towards Hatta, then make a U-turn at the first roundabout towards Dubai. If you’re heading to Al Ain from Dubai, make sure to exit onto Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road towards Jebel Ali Port, and then do a U-turn at the first roundabout towards Dubai.
RTA has also warned drivers to anticipate delays lasting beginning on 9th August and ending on 9th September, due to the maintenance work. Maintenance work on the bridge is happening at the fifth intersection of Dubai – Al Ain Road with Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road in both directions.
Delays are not expected during peak travel times as construction will take place every day from 10pm to 6am.
