Can’t stop rummaging for your driving license or registration, when asked? Not anymore! The RTA has announced that you can now add your vehicle registration and driving licence information to your phone’s wallet application via the RTA’s app. However, this feature is only available for Samsung users.
RTA and Samsung Gulf Electronics have teamed up to integrate driving licenses and vehicle registrations into Samsung Wallet. This initiative supports Dubai’s ambition of becoming the world’s premier smart city by offering enhanced convenience and efficiency for drivers. Samsung users can now directly add their vehicle registration and driving license details through the RTA app. This partnership underscores RTA’s dedication to innovative solutions and smart solutions for urban mobility.
Meera Al Shaikh, Director of Smart Services at RTA, emphasized that maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy underscores the commitment of both RTA and Samsung to safeguarding user trust. This integration not only revolutionizes the management of transportation-related documents but also establishes a new standard for excellence in service delivery and technological advancement within the emirate.
