Vicky Kaushal is set to join Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar as hosts for the 24th Edition of the IIFA Awards, scheduled to take place in September 2024 at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The event promises to be a major spectacle, with Kaushal also performing his popular ‘Tauba Tauba’ dance moves.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the upcoming event, Vicky Kaushal stated, “IIFA has played a significant role in my journey, celebrating cinematic excellence and bringing together the brightest talent in Indian cinema. Every time I step onto the IIFA stage, it feels magical.”
He further commented on the venue, saying, “Returning to IIFA at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi – a place known for limitless entertainment – is something I’ve been looking forward to. I aim to bring fresh energy to the stage and create memorable moments with the IIFA community. The anticipation, the fans, and the celebration of cinema make it a unique experience.”
In addition to the hosts, the event will also see the return of Rekha, a celebrated figure in Indian cinema, to the IIFA stage.
The 24th edition of the IIFA Awards and IIFA Utsavam is scheduled to take place from September 27th to 29th at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The event will honour achievements in both Hindi cinema and the South Indian film industries, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, showcasing a wide range of talent from across the Indian film industry.
