One of the busiest taxi drop-off and pick-up points at Dubai Mall has been relocated. The taxi point near Waitrose has been moved to Zabeel P3, increasing the walking distance to the mall, though, not as much as the metro users.
Due to the relocation, to reach Dubai Mall from the new location, you will need to cross the road via the bridge-tunnel from Ekart Zabeel to get to the rest of the mall. However, the taxi point near the large indoor waterfall remains unchanged.
The mall announced this change via its Instagram story, with the new arrangement taking effect on Monday, August 12.
Earlier this year, Dubai Mall introduced parking fees for the first time, following a December 2023 announcement. The barrier-free, ticketless parking system uses Salik and vehicle plate recognition to automatically deduct fees. Click here to find out more.
