UAE to Host Major Global Events in September

The UAE is set to host a wide range of global events throughout September, further cementing its position as a global hub for business, tourism and innovation across all sectors. Here are the events as below:

25th-26th September – The 7th edition of the Global Aerospace Summit at the St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi. Gathering leaders from the aviation, aerospace and defence sectors, the summit aims to accelerate investments to boost sustainability, youth engagement and innovation in these sectors.

16th-18th September – The 3rd edition of the World Utilities Congress at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi, hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company. The event will attract over 12,000 specialists and global experts from the electricity and water utilities sector.

23rd-25th September – The first edition of the World Congress on Rehabilitation (WCR) 2024 in Abu Dhabi. This event will bring together leaders and officials from the rehabilitation and healthcare sectors, along with service providers, government institutions, academics, and researchers from 100 countries to improve the quality of life for people of determination.

11th-12th September – The inaugural Dubai AI & Web3 Festival at Madinat Jumeirah, hosted by the Dubai International Financial Centre. The festival will feature over 100 exhibitors and 5,000 participants, including industry leaders, policymakers, and global innovators discussing the future of AI and Web3.

16th-20th September – The 30th edition of the World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS World Congress) in Dubai, expected to draw 20,000 participants and 800 speakers. The congress will cover topics such as intelligent transport innovations, sustainable mobility, smart city integration, data-driven decision-making, autonomous vehicles, and international cooperation.

23rd-25th September – The 10th edition of the World Free Zones Organisation’s Annual International Conference and Exhibition (AICE) in Dubai. The event will welcome representatives from over 100 countries, including more than 2,000 global and regional business leaders and free zone officials.

7th-8th September – The second edition of the Binos Classic Bodybuilding Championship at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will see 700 athletes compete for a total prize of AED 1.2 million, the highest prize value for a competition of its kind globally.

4th-5th September – The 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) in Sharjah. Organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, this forum will gather senior officials, decision-makers, specialists, experts, and researchers to discuss innovative government communication and its role in achieving resilient government policies.

18th-19th September – The 7th edition of the Sharjah Investment Forum, under the theme “A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies.” The event will feature over 80 prominent speakers, including ministers, government officials, business leaders, and investors from around the world.
