For the folks that love to sleep or lay in bed doing nothing, or doomscrolling, today’s your day, as 10th August is celebrated as National Lazy Day. While some of us consider everyday to be lazy day, the rest of us can take this one day as an opportunity to bask in the sun (with sunscreen!), or a nice bath spa with bathbombs and facial masks.
Now as much as it is frowned upon, being lazy occasionally, allows the body to rejuvenate and restore its balance and energy, reducing burnout. Being burntout is worse than being lazy as burnout can lead to insomnia, depression, and chronic fatigue.
So, this lazy day, lets pamper ourselves and lay on our couches binging our favourite shows. Although if you work today, try not arriving in pyjamas.
