If you need a good old laugh, the September Laughter Factory, roadshow has some of the best acts in the business at a venue near you.
Award winning Canadian comedian, Kate Barron is the brutally honest, unfiltered voice in your head. This is a comic that you don’t want to miss.
Recently featured as a part of Channel 4’s “ Only Jokes a Muslim can tell”. Farhan Solo is making waves in the UK’s comedy scene and is about to make his much awaited debut in the Gulf. He skilfully navigates universally relatable topics such as race, politics, family and dating – all through the eyes of an eccentric millennial Muslim.
Finally the highlight of the Dubai Comedy Festival, Maher Barwany was the first local act that Jason Manford hunted down to perform with him infront of Jason;’s extended family, the last time he appeared on the Laughter Factory.
Join us at the afterparty (no chairs allowed, we’ve been sat down for 2 hours, laughing) we mingle with the comics and talk nonsense about live comedy. It’s almost as much fun as the show.
Meet the Comics
Kate Barron
A hilarious and unfiltered take on sex, dating and relationships.
Canadian comedian, Kate Barron is the brutally honest, unfiltered voice in your head. Her hilarious stories on dating, sex, and being happily childless are not for the faint of heart.
Award winning Canadian comedian, Kate Barron is the brutally honest, unfiltered voice in your head. Kate fought (and partied) through her naive 20-something phase of trying to find herself, and came out the other side. Now in her 30s, she’s a fiercely loyal woman with a strong bull s#!t detector and the experience to back it up. After a lifetime of being told she is too big, too loud and too vulgar, by everyone from strangers to teachers, she decided to step on stage and start wearing those labels as badges of honour. Kate doesn’t do self-deprecating. She’s that confident friend you wish you had on speed dial when you need to be pumped up.
