Dubai welcomes a new addition to its retail landscape with the opening of Al Khawaneej Mall by Union Coop. Located in Al Khawaneej 2 and spanning around 70,000 sqft, this new community hub features a hypermarket, a range of retail and service outlets, and ample outdoor parking, designed to cater to the everyday needs of nearby residents.
At the heart of the development is Union Coop’s hypermarket, surrounded by essential amenities including a nursery, café options, a currency exchange, a bank, and even a petrol station. More than a shopping destination, the mall is positioned as a family-friendly, people-centric space aligned with Dubai’s modern lifestyle standards.
Union Coop’s CEO Mohamed Al Hashemi emphasized the mall’s purpose as a “social-retail space” that enhances community living through thoughtful design and a high-quality customer experience.
Developed in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE), the mall reflects a strong public-private synergy and Union Coop’s ongoing expansion strategy into vital residential areas across the emirate.
