With rising temperatures, tyre bursts become a common cause of accidents, so motorists are encouraged to have their vehicles checked before the end of August.
To redeem this service, drivers should visit their local AutoPro centre, where mechanics will provide a complimentary 10-point vehicle health check-up. This inspection includes:
– Air conditioning and air filter
– Windshield washer fluid
– Battery health
– Radiator hoses
– Wiper blades
– Tyre pressure
– Engine oil and coolant level
– Light functioning
– General fluid level
– Seatbelt condition
Additionally, the RTA has issued safety advice, reminding motorists to maintain their vehicle’s mechanics, as the extreme heat can make it more challenging to keep them in good condition.
