More than 800 gymnasts from 25 countries will participate in the GYMNASTIKA SOLO CUP, the largest international competition of its kind, at Al Nasr Club in Dubai from May 17-19. Leading the lineup are Belarussian stars Alina Harnasko and Anastasiia Salos, along with Lala Kramarenko, the 2018 European and 2019 junior world champion.

Harnasko boasts an impressive resume, including a bronze all-around medal at the 2020 Olympics, silver in the all-around and gold in ribbon at the 2021 World Championships, and multiple silver medals in the European Championships and Grand Prix finals.

Salos, another notable competitor, secured an all-around bronze at the 2020 European Championships, a team bronze at the 2019 World Championships, and a team silver at the 2019 European Championships.

Kramarenko, a three-time junior national all-around champion, also holds titles in ball and clubs from the 2019 junior world championships and ball and ribbon from the 2018 European junior championships. She was part of the team gold at the 2021 European Championships.

These distinguished athletes will compete alongside participants from the GCC region, the Americas, Russia, Asia, and local gymnasts of Palestinian heritage. Organizers anticipate over 6,000 spectators at the stadium and an online viewership exceeding 10 million.

For the first time in the UAE, the tournament’s prize fund, sponsored by SOLO, an international sportswear brand, is set at 10,000 Euros. In just three years, the Gymnastika Solo Cup has become a key event in the rhythmic gymnastics calendar.

“Dubai, as a global sports center, invites athletes from all over the world on a unique rhythmic gymnastics journey for the Gymnastika Solo Cup 2024 that will open up new horizons and inspire new feats. We are glad to be a part of this incredible story of sportsmanship and beauty,” said Anastasia Zakrevskaya, CEO of Gymnastika RG Club UAE.
