Under the sponsorship of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, over 30,000 people from over 100 countries attended Dubai AI Week 2025, a historic celebration of artificial intelligence. From April 21 to April 25 the city became a worldwide hub for artificial intelligence innovation with ten significant events, more than 250 sessions, and the announcement of more than thirty initiatives.
The event, organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) and overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), promoted long-term AI development and public-private collaboration. The AI Retreat, Dubai Assembly for AI, Machines Can See Summit, Global Prompt Engineering Championship, and Dubai AI Festival were all big events.
Ameca, a humanoid robot with increased human interaction capabilities, had an impressive premiere at the Museum of the Future. Meanwhile, Digital Dubai presented the inaugural Dubai State of AI Report, which details how AI is already transforming areas such as banking, healthcare, and urban transportation.
In addition to UAE-based innovators like Dubai Police, DEWA, and Dubai Health Authority, the week’s partners featured global companies like Google Cloud, Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI, IBM, and NVIDIA.
