Hind, who goes by art_of_hind on Instagram, is an Emirati artist gaining recognition for her captivating mural designs across the UAE, including at bus stations and for the Dubai Police Transport and Rescue Department. Initially aspiring to study fine arts, Hind specialized in graphic design at university, a field she finds complements her artistic talents.

Her journey into mural art began with a notable project commissioned by the late Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan. ” I was selected among Emirati artists to beautify Al Samha city.” She said. Despite COVID-19 challenges, she persevered, refusing electronic submission requests, and personally executing five murals. Hind’s murals incorporate culturally significant symbols, and motifs that hold deep meaning in the UAE – from golden sand dunes to Bedouin life.

Reflecting on her favourite project, Hind expressed enthusiasm for her collaboration with Abu Dhabi Municipality, where she painted bus station shelters.

Reflecting on her favourite project, Hind highlighted her collaboration with Abu Dhabi Municipality, painting bus station shelters. She commented, “The team’s support and the thrill of working at such heights in public spaces were truly exhilarating.”

Hind aims to become a certified mural artist for government entities and establish her own company specializing in murals and fine arts. Passionate about her field, Hind shared, “Sometimes, even the heat doesn’t seem like a challenge because, thankfully, I really enjoy what I do.” She takes breaks in air-conditioned places and prefers working in the evening but often needs daylight for detail work.
