1. ATM- While mostly used today as at the moment, the abbreviation also stands for Automated Teller Machine.
2. BTS- BTS is understood as the famous K-pop boy band, standing for “Bangtan Sonyeondan” or beyond the scene, however, in the media world it also stands for behind-the-scenes.

10. RIP- While usually used for condolences “Rest in Peace”, RIP is also seen as the verb rip, or to tear something apart, and is often used as a slang among Gen Alphas, to seem as though they mean Rest in Peace, but they really just mean to rip (and you thought Gen Z was quirky).
