The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 concluded after four days of vibrant discussions, exhibitions, and networking at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s edition is expected to have set a new attendance record, surpassing last year’s 46,000 visitors. With the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” the event highlighted the future of global travel, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and inclusion.
Connectivity emerged as a vital thread linking various sectors—from aviation and accommodation to wellness and MICE—enabling seamless movement and cultural exchange. Sustainability was a major theme, with conversations around responsible tourism, waste reduction, and climate-conscious operations. Organisations like Dubai Holding Entertainment emphasised educating future generations and implementing green initiatives like energy-saving programs and waste management systems.
Technology also took centre stage. AI and big data are now core to personalising experiences, with destinations like Yas Island and Saadiyat leveraging analytics to tailor offerings. Accessibility was another key focus, with Dubai recently certified as the first autism-friendly city in the Eastern Hemisphere. Leaders stressed the importance of creating inclusive, accessible experiences for all travelers.
ATM 2025 reaffirmed the industry’s commitment to building a connected, sustainable, tech-driven, and inclusive global travel ecosystem.
