Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is launching the On & Off Bus tour service in September 2024. The initiative is designed to attract both residents and visitors to explore the city’s famous landmarks and attractions.
Starting from Dubai Mall, passengers can explore eight major attractions: Dubai Frame, Heritage Village, Museum of the Future, Gold Souk, Dubai Mall, La Mer Beach, Jumeirah Mosque, and City Walk.
The bus will make nine stops, including those at the eight landmarks and Al Ghubaiba Metro, Bus, and Marine Transport Station, showcasing Dubai’s comprehensive public transport network.
The On & Off Bus will operate daily from 10am to 10pm with departures every 60 minutes. The full tour of the landmarks will take approximately two hours, and a ticket costs 35Dhs per person, valid for the entire day.
Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of the Public Transport Agency at RTA, commented, “The increasing influx of tourists, businesspeople and investors descending on Dubai from around the globe are drawn by the UAE’s safety, security, world-class services and robust infrastructure across all sectors, including public transportation, unique tourist attractions and the universal respect and appreciation for tourists and visitors.”
He added, “The On & Off Bus will help residents and visitors Discover Dubai, One Stop at a Time and will enhance the integration of Dubai’s public transport system by connecting with other transportation modes, such as the metro, marine transport, and public buses, particularly at Al Ghubaiba station, which serves as a hub for these services.”
